I just wanted to salute all those men who have taught their sons and daughters what a gentleman is. I’m lucky that I have a father that really took the role seriously in raising my sister and I. This is a day to honor those men who have put in the effort to be a positive influence in their children’s lives. When done right, Fatherhood is about putting your children’s needs ahead of yours and giving them the healthiest possible childhood so that they can survive in the world of adulthood. It is a heroic role and I’m happy to honor the men who devote their lives to being great fathers. I know it’s a difficult role and it’s impossible to not make mistakes as they go along, but the fact that the try their best is something that I have a lot of respect for. To all those great fathers out there, I thank you! To my own father, I love you.
