JM Roofing Institute

The JM Roofing Institute allows our JM Peak Advantage Contractors to get hands on training at our Rockdale, IL facility. Our instructor, Joe Gosdeck, teaches best practices and general installation for single ply and bituminous roofing systems. His years of experience provide an opportunity for contractors of all backgrounds to get the latest installation techniques and system knowledge.

State-Of-The-Art Training Facility

JM has a 7,500 square foot training center at the Rockdale, IL manufacturing facility. The training center includes:

  • A large (70'x30') training deck for material and system installation
  • Numerous detail decks with a variety of penetrations for flashing detail installations
  • All the required installation tools and equipment
  • Conference room for classroom curriculum featuring presentation lectures and video learning

Contractor Training Modules

Qualifying Peak Advantage contractors have exclusive access to in-person Contractor Training Modules. This newly designed program allows contractors to mix and match training as their field team demands. Technical Representatives from JM will travel to the contractor's facility and lead 2 鈥� 3 hour sessions focusing on key skills pre-determined by the contractor. JM will provide a product kit tailored to the requested training. Multiple modules can be requested together to create a truly customized training experience. Based upon their level in the program, contractors will earn a set number of credits for customized Contractor Training Modules each year.听 Look for additional modules to be added throughout the year.

To schedule Module Training, the contractor will notify their local JM Sales Representative who will coordinate with the local Field Technical Representative. Please see course details below for available modules and training credits:
